This renowned ”folk, roots and beyond” music festival presents major international and national artists over a huge four day festival. Twenty venues in The Arena and around the village are host to concerts, theme concerts, jams, workshops, classes, talks, dancing, comedy and more.

Walk, Run or Bike on the Foreshore Promenade Walk

The award-winning Foreshore Promenade is a wonderful 5.7 km track that stretches from the Breakwater along the coastline to the famous whale nursery at Logans Beach. Take a towel, stop off for a surf or swim, and don’t forget your camera. Contact the Visitor Centre for information on bike hire.

Warrnambool Whale Watching

Warrnambool is famous for the Southern Right Whales who visit us each year, roughly between late May and early October, returning to their nursery at Logan’s Beach to give birth and raise their calves.

Visit Tower Hill

A 10 minute drive gets you to Tower Hill where you can drive or ride your bike down into an extinct volcano and view kangaroos, koalas and emus and visit the indigenous interpretive Centre – the Worn Gundidj Visitor Centre.
